Commercial Mediation

Mediation is often used as a means of dispute resolution to settle conflicts which have arisen between a business and a customer or a business and a supplier. Mediation is a cost effective way of resolving disputes, including small claims disputes.

Mediation is generally face-to-face but, depending on the nature and complexity of your dispute,  Telephone Mediation may be an option.

You will be assisted by the Mediator to negotiate with the other party so that you can reach settlement. Mediation means that you and the other party are able to explain your points of view to each other and reach a better understanding. This can often lead to a more creative settlement than if you were to resort to the Courts. It gives you more control over the outcome and is a non-confrontational way of reaching a solution. Mediation is quicker than going through the Court process and you are likely to find that it results in a more satisfactory outcome.
